Course Description
ELEOT 3.0: Observing the Learner Experience
This course introduces teachers to ELEOT 3.0, the Effective Learning Environments Observation Tool used across NIS classrooms. ELEOT 3.0 is a formative classroom observation tool designed to measure and promote an effective learner-centric environment.
The course explains why the tool changed from ELEOT 2.0 to 3.0. It then walks through each of the four learning environments — its purpose, focus question, the 24 items on the form, and the observable behaviors that show each one in a real classroom.
By the end, teachers will understand what observers look for and how to plan lessons that give learners genuine opportunities to engage, think, belong and grow.
