Nevine Elbaz

Nevine El Baz is an accomplished Physical Education Director at NIS, overseeing the physical education curriculum across eight campuses. With a dynamic approach to fitness, Nevine is responsible for a diverse range of sports activities, from CrossFit to yoga, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded physical education experience. As an innovative curriculum developer, Nevine has successfully introduced lesser-known sports to schools in Egypt, including flag rugby, triathlon, marathons, CrossFit, athletics, aquathlon, roller skating, frisbee, gymnastics, and arm wrestling. Her initiatives have enriched the physical education landscape, promoting inclusivity and engagement in various athletic disciplines. With over a decade of experience at NIS, Nevine has developed and implemented effective curriculum strategies that inspire students to embrace physical activity. Her qualifications are extensive, including certifications in CrossFit (Levels 1 and 2), CrossFit Kids, and multiple international sports health and science certifications. Nevine is also skilled in nutrition, programming, rehabilitation for injured athletes, and understanding the unique needs of aging athletes. Apart from her professional credentials, Nevine is a passionate athlete herself. She is a dedicated CrossFitter, triathlete, marathon runner, aquathlete, and swimmer, participating in numerous competitions and showcasing her commitment to fitness. She’s also an avid biker and proud Harley owner, reflecting her adventurous spirit. Before her tenure at NIS, Nevine spent two years teaching English in a college setting, leveraging her Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to foster communication skills among students. Through her holistic approach to physical education and her dedication to personal and professional growth, Nevine El Baz continues to inspire students and fellow educators alike, advocating for health, fitness, and well-being in the community.
